CHUUUT(e)
CHUUUT(e) is a choreographic journey that passes through the real and the absurd, grandeur and decadence, evidence or ignorance, where the spectator will see himself projected beyond the fall in order to discover what which causes us to fall. Inseparable from our human condition, the experience of the fall is as essential as it is inevitable in everyone's life because it is both the beginning and destiny.
The child must learn, for each of his first steps, to welcome imbalance. Like the tightrope walker, he accepts to leave a state of comfort and to lose his balance to move forward, one stride after the other, to grow in the face of the obstacles of life, of his body, and of his unconscious.
The theme that this piece proposes, turns out to be a very important point of dialogue within the youth because the fall is often connected to the defeat, to a mistake or to a negative connotation. Thus, this piece, is a question of sharing a different point of view, giving the possibility of discovering new aspects related to the fall and sharing with the young audience a journey that highlights fragments of moments where falling is as positive as negative. "CHUUUT(e)" takes us through a moment and discovers the pleasure of falling.
YOUTH / EDUCATIONAL / PEDAGOGICAL ASPECT
The theme of the fall, in all its forms, seems to be an interesting point to address with young people. Indeed, the fall is most of the time linked to defeat, to a mistake... it often has a negative connotation. Hence the title of the play "CHUUUT(e)"; we think wrongly that we should not talk about it, hide from it, and especially not assume it. In this work for young audiences, it is a question of sharing a journey that highlights the moments when falling is also positive.
We also offer pedagogical and educational support for this project, with the provision of a complete and elaborate pedagogical dossier that provides the various protagonists in the educational sector with a pedagogical support tool on the theme and subject of the fall/defeat. Through a wide range of exercises and examples linked to the piece's research, young people will be able to explore, discover, and prepare for the project, having already tackled the subject.
This tool is available to anyone wishing to link the show with an educational aspect.
We are also committed to offering movement workshops, round-table discussions, and “bords plateaux” for exchanges with the audience after each performance.
Educational files for schools, teachers, and educators are available on request. Contact us for more information.
